This item is not only good for casters, but also melee classes. Specifically non dual wielders such as Paladin...Shadowknight...etc. The 35 AC and 75 HP are really excellent (especially for us AC starved Rangers). Not to mention that it is thankfully not NO DROP...but it's an obvious guess that |

Sounds neat, but what drops it?
I'm a little big leary of the pluses, AND 35ac.
only rare.. I think a little more than that, and the mob must be quite tough, to drop something like this.
Looks better than most of the caster eq out there.
Just add in continous clarity II, and..

I'd say the classes that would USE this as standard equip are:
All casters
All preists
Shadowknight
Paladin
Of those classes I'd say enchanter needs it the most followed closely by paladin and SK.
Enchanters take tons of hits. If they die the whole party or RAID dies. Thier shield options |

Just looted one tonight on a A Ry`Gorr Watchman on the Orc Bridge. You'll know when he has it, because he will be wielding it and it may proc on you. These guys also seem to have Velium daggers on them as well. Same proc and the Ry'Gorr clan is in Crystal Caverns in case you dont know. |

They drop like flies and vendors pay 10p..also see them on vendors on occasion. 10p is good enough for me as they add up fast...shame you can carry only one at a time. |

I bougth this in a shop in either east or north karana, wasn't even expensive. Merchant that sold it had many different velium weapons, all rather fairly priced. |
