| At lvl 60 with everything maxed out, and hitting planar creatures. I would expect the max damage to be somewhere in the 400's. I use a primal claidhmore(2H slash) and it hits for 292 max at lvl.60 for a ranger. Edited, Wed May 1 12:40:50 2002 | ||||

| It seems to me to be very similar in effect, as well as identical in displayed messages, as the shaman fury line of spells. While the self only fury line lasts longer than 3 ticks, the non-self only is a battle buff that lasts only 3 ticks (but the displayed messages are different). | ||||

| its not the wisdom in question for these classes and what they cannot do with it but WHAT they CAN do with it...this is a great addition and one i know bards at least have been waiting on..the engulfing darkness proc is great for kiting..with the proc and the fear effect or song that bard or rogue h | ||||

| finally i dont need to spend 90k+ for dragon scale mask from sleepers which is close to these stats , except it has 25 cha instead of 15 (oh no lol, ill only have 215 cha=P)This is a must get mask for all pure casters, and if it ever went to a hybrid i will cry..lol. | this is an everage level..for instance..you solo cannot take on this mob BUT if a full group of 40+ came in they cold...sure its red to you but most mobs are and just takes soem work...they are not saying that a 40 alone could take it but its a recomended minimum level to even enter the place or you | ||||

| I only have a Katta staff of peace (look it up. it's a piss poor melee weapon compared to this for casters) and durring long fights after I lay my dots on, what do I do? I melee. | I believe that it's considered a piece of junk because of the encounter that yields it. Just for an example, compare this to the Petrified Heartwood Flamberge off Tunare. | I would never kite with this weapon for snare, a proc is far to unreliable for that. might be nice when it kicks in and you dont have to twist snare for 1.5mins but that's it pertty much. very nice in pkill though i believe. | ||||

| I've personally killed this guy 10 times (with endless placeholders...) and gotten the grimling armband of servitude every time...i suppose this is his rare...glad i wasn't there for several more hours only to get this, i would be pissed. | ||||
