If you'd take the time to read what the extra focus effects do, you'd realize that a level III focus effect on a low level item doesn't help a low level character, BECAUSE they can't cast level 44+ spells, so who cares? Oh goodie, I have Improved Healing III on my +1 ring of Yada Yada, so when I cas |

Well I DIS-agree. I am a programmer as well, and i can tell you that an undertaking like the EQ online game is so complex I am amazed that there are as few problems as there are. Yes, there should probably be a wee bit more testing before the release of a patch, but to act so surprised that a produc |

The effect was changed to Improved Damage III. Much more useful, seeing as that it is a wizard only cap. It is not no drop, and has a recommended level of 51. In the inventory it looks like cloth, and on my High Elf Wizard, an ugly, red, plate-like look.

I think the levels should be changed.
Level I affect spells 1 - 30
Level II affect spells 1 - 50
level III affect spells 1 - 60
At the level you can actually get the items the spells you would be using are higher than would be benefited by the items.
gives a nice degenerating scale |

4. Robe of The Oracle
Answer should be 1. Which now with the focus effect give you Extende |

Is it me or does VI have a strange idea on what items get what effects? What pure casters isn't going to want + 33% Spell Haste to there Damaging Spells? But then, what stats are they going to lose to equip this thing?? Almost as bad as putting Improved Healing III on the Ring of the Shissar...

The newest effect is now "Improved Healing 2", which grants a 15% bonus to all heals between 20 and 45. This item is AMAZING for clerics levels 34 to 49 simply due to the fact Superior Healing (which they get at 34) can heal up to 750+ dmg with this item equipped! That's almost as good as |

I agree with your suggested focus levels and with the post of Clarge. Some items are only able to get a lvl 25 or 30th and it's a lvl I items which means it was obsolete to you at level 20th.
Maybe not as much for hybrids, but clerics, wizards and the other casters are looking at a lvl I item and |
