I believe that each god has their own faction, in addition to that of their followers. There's a Barbarian fisherman in N Ro that gives a negative hit to "Karana" when you kill him, for example. Not "Karanas" or "KaranaResidents" or any other faction with a similar name |

I'm pretty sure Lushan Novashine (or whatever his name is) is on Priests of Life faction, not Knights of Thunder. Not that this takes away from your story in the least....and I'm KOS to both PoL and KoT anyway. ;-)

The guards in Everfrost are on Wolves of the North faction, that of the Barbarian Warrior guild. As long as you're not KOS to them, you can build faction with them by any of several quests involving giving gnoll fangs, ice goblin beads, or polar bear skins to various NPCs in Halas.
