Maybe not mobs, but there were 2 human npcs, and 2 "A slain Dragon" near the south shore, relatively close to the Siren's Grotto Zone
The dragons were both untargetable and threateningly. I am on CoV faction.
The humans were blue Ready to attack

Have been hunting for 3 solid days in s ro for AC - missed him a few times when afk for a coupla minutes - verant musta turned my webcam against me! :-(
At any rate, I've killed the rares several times in the process:
a mummy
a sand mummy
a drybone skeleton
etc

Yes, you would have to group here. Most mobs are found in large groups (except some of the Ry'Gorr which are turning light blue at 36). Especially nearing the queen room, you can fight waves of 3-4 spiders at once. |

I have cleared the spawn of 3 ogre mercenaries about 40 times now, and have seen the named, Captain Ulmog, only once. He had a little over 5000 hitpoints and was just as resistant as the usual ogre mercenary spawns. Dropped Captain Ulmog Brooch, lore item, no drop, and also Mercenary Assignments. |

He's level 52, and seems to be about the strength of Skarlon.
the drop is Dormant Crystal Sphere. Looks like a lightstone, and as Bosephus said, no stats and clr/dru karana only. no drop.

...just found out that they can't be mez'd, stunned, snared(as pointed out), etc. Semi-high resists as I had to sing my debuff songs to get anything to land. Then, I found out they summon... :P

I too ran into this gnoll, while playing a new druid i created. He beat my, at the time, level 7 druid for between 50-70dmg. almost got killed, had it not been for the zone a mere second away :) |

I haven't been to PoM yet but I notice after checking out all the mobs here, it seemes to be a zone just for fun and no mobs drop any loot. I think it would be funny though if VI made funny loot dropping, like lets say a 1hslash that's 30/20, but gives -20str -20sta -20dex. Or a really uber 2hslash |
