Maybe you forgot something very important on your post.... Any caster that is OOM is useless.
Just because an item has FT of any lvl doesnt mean its for a specific class, unless it is only wearable by that class. |

What kind of forces were necessary to get to and then take out the Gale Caller? I will need to obtain the Essence of Gale to complete the quest once I have my faction high enough to start it. I have all the other pieces needed.

I am about 99.9% sure that Brell Serilis is the only deity choice for dwarven pallys (maybe all dwarves?). And I know the sword is cool, but the helm isn't shabby looking either.
