| Short answer. No, it is EASY to start off as an Elvaan WHM/- from day one. I did with my Elvaan. In the L 1 - 10 solo peroid, Taru WHMs die a LOT. Bene a lot too. I never did either. I could Bene in parties, stand my ground, engage, attack, and live. A Taru either runs after Bene, or dies | ||||

| Compared to a Hume, which make very good RDM, you suffer in MP but benefit from higher natural Mind. Truth be told, it's easier to accumulate more MP than it is to make up those few points of Mind. While we shell out for MND +4 rings, you can use cheaper Electrums. | ||||
