No, the scepter was given out in a GM event by Al'Kabor himself. It's an artifact and is called The Scepter of Al'Kabor.
You can wield this scepter with any of your characters due to a bug though.
Just buy a torch, go underwater wielding the torch and get out of the water. The scepter will be |

My lvl 4 Wizard can take him with a few Shock of Fire spells. I just learned of the quest, so now I at least know what to do with the book now. As long as you are a caster, fairly easy kill at lower levels(depending on cast times). |

Off topic for the quest, but something to keep in mind if you're huting Lake.
The drixies always saw my Wiz when he's invis (they're still amiable) but I've started taking a different route over the last few levels, so that might have changed.
Some of the Drac's can see Invis. I think it's an |

So this has to do with the realm of heroes somehow? Interesting... I thought that had to do with service to your diety.
And I have to wonder, since the item appears to be generated specifically for this quest, what does salesmanship have to do with it? |

Geez, this cloak is great! I would love to have one! My WIS is more then a slide over 200 and the 10 Sv All on this are awesome! Its a great cloak for all classes that are lvl 50+. For those of you that are below lvl 50, resistence |

Zone in from OT and immediately turn north. stay due north till you hit the water. watch along the hillside that runs parallel to the water and you will se the zone. It is pretty close to the western zone line so dont head too far to the east. |

I was just in Dalnir as of 13 Nov 2001. In the third lvl I was heading into the dining room and noticed something.
There is now a Kly Follower (at least I think it was a follower) that runs from left to right who keeps asking "where is that scroll?!" or something like that.

rhetoric ... SOS (same old sh@t)
luckily the AC is good on th is thing but dont preach to low levels about resists being most important on high lvl mobs.
we spend 95% of our time XPing so AC is most important to melee
the resists will help the 5% of the time they spend on raids

It may be true that resists are critical in the high level game, but I feel they are importent in certain circumstances at lower levels as well. The goblins in runneyeye, and highkeep basement cast a lot of spells, and resisting and taking only 30 damage is nice, instead of a full 60-90 pts on some |

I'm wondering if the Realm of Hero's thing really means anything. The RoH NPCs say this whenever they get a coin, and the items given are "usually" random. However I did get a specific item when my SK received the Malevolent title. Would be cool if they are keeping a list of players deeds on each se |

At level 59, I sure need my resist gear a lot more than 5% of my time. As a casual gamer playing EQ since release, I'm now at the point where I am wearing my resist gear over half the time I'm playing. Seems I spend a lot of my time doing anything but, exp grinding and I can keep my resists at +100 |

I have found most items that people comment about are very subjective. There are many aplications for this cloak, and personally if I had it, I would use it to replace my current cloak permanently. First AC - AC is important for all players, perhaps more important than most know. AC is another ch |

Well, there is a plus side to the monk pullers, despite the low average MR. Dalnir is chock full o' monks. Unless you pull your group from OT or wherever else, chances are your group will have several monks. I had some enjoyable experiences on third floor with an all monk group lvls 30-40.
