The Redemption of Perdeen (Rift Encounter)

This is a 5-man Expert Rift Event, opened by use of a Lure: Redemption of Perdeen.

Phase 1

  • 15 minute Rift timer. Resets to 15 minutes after each section of the phase is completed.
  • 3 Items Spawn on the ground; a shield, a gun, and a potion.
  • Using These items spawns a NPC you must defend, and some townspeople you must defend.
  • Each NPC spawns a beam of that light provides an aura. Make sure to have the appropriate member stand in the appropriate light!
  • Apothecarys'- 33% increased incoming and outgoing healing (might be wrong on this one)
  • Blacksmiths'-50% increased armor and attack power
  • Bakers'-33% increased spell damage
  • Each NPC has a unique wave of enemies as well
  • Apothecarys'-Spawns 1 melee and 1 ranged add, then 2 melee and 1 ranged add, then 1 melee, 1 ranged and a caster. Easy stuff.
  • Blacksmiths'-Spawns 1 melee and 1 ranged add, then 2 melees and 1 ranged add, then 2 melees and 1 ranged add. Tank n' Spank.
  • Bakers'-The hardest by far. Spawns 1 melee and 1 ranged add, then 2 melee and 1 ranged add, the 2 ranged and 1 melee add. The third spawn is by far the hardest. The big archer guy will randomly target someone, and after a 2 second cast, 1 shot them. The only way to interrupt this, is by using a knockback ability on him.
  • Recommended order is; Apothecary, Blacksmith, then Baker.

Phase 2

  • The boss spawns. I forget his name. You have 3 minutes to kill him.
  • He does a small knockback on th tank, and has something like 160k health.
  • About every 30% health or so, he runs around to a light beam, and eats the buff. There does not seem to be any order.
  • At about 10%, when he has eaten all the lights, he enrages. He hits pretty damn hard at this point.
  • When he seems to be just about dead, he heals to near full and runs over to a corner. At this point he despawns and spawns a pile of flesh.

Phase 3

  • The pile of flesh spawns high damage, high health elite adds. I believe they auto agro, so the tank needs to be on the ball.
  • You have 2:30 to complete this phase.

Phase 4

  • Boss is a lich dude. Has maybe 120k health.
  • Beams of light respawn in order they were done in Phase 1.
  • Boss should be tanked in Blacksmith's light, with healers in the apothecary light and DPS in the Bakers light.
  • Does a spam AoE that ticks for 1400dmg on the tank for 8ish seconds.
  • His shield can be dispelled, so melee are viable, just make sure to purge!
