Rank 1 NoS spells

You can buy your Rank 1 spells from the vendors located in the southeast corner of Maiden's Eye. Find Horfitz and go through the fake wall behind him which will lead you to the spell merchants. Note: Enchanter illusion spells are dropped.

Rank 2 NoS Spells

Rank 2 NoS spells come from drops in NoS group zones. These items drop rarely from trash, and uncommonly from named NPC's. To get a Rank 2 Spell from the item, simply right click on the item. A reward box will pop up, and you can select which Spell or Spells you wish to receive.

Rank 3 NoS spells

Rank 3 NoS spells come from drops in NoS raids. To get a Rank 3 Spell from the item, simply right click on the item. A reward box will pop up, and you can select which Spell or Spells you wish to receive.

  • NoS Rank III Level 117 Spells: Lesser Something Runestone
  • NoS Rank III Level 118 Spells: Median Something Runestone
  • NoS Rank III Level 119 Spells: Greater Something Runestone
  • NoS Rank III Level 120 Spells: Glowing Something Runestone

Illusions spells

    • The illusion is a drop from fungus-type mobs in Paludal Depths and Deepshade.

Ecliptic Progression NoS spells

How you get them You can buy your Ecliptic spells from Elder Veteran Muhrak in Shar Vahl.

Progressive spells use special mechanics that put 'hidden' spells on your character at level 250, and it's those spells that get triggered when you use the base ability. A script on the base spell item gives you these hidden spells as well as the base spell. If you just get them from /spellscribe, the hidden spells won't get applied and the base spell won't have anything to trigger. As of 11/6, the scroll/tome items should give you the hidden spells.

How you make them better. The spells are tied to your progression through the expansion. You'll be able to cast at least the first rank just for buying it, but getting the best rank will require raiding. Each rank of these spells is tied to an achievement, and earning that achievement will grant you a (CLICKY?) to use to upgrade your spells.
