/follow allows a person to follow an NPC or a player, hands-free.
Alias |
None |
Usage | /follow (target) |
Description | Moves in the direction of the object or player targeted.
Move in the opposite direction to cancel. |
Example |
/follow <t> |
- "Zoning" will cause the player using the /follow command to zone, as well, after which the effect will be cancelled.
- /follow cannot be used with invisible players as targets. A player must therefore target lock them and /autofollow to achieve the same result.
- While in /follow mode, a player may freely /target mobs and players alike. They may follow their target into battle, fight the enemy and continue to /follow their original target after the battle is won.
- If affected by a movement impairing effect (such as Curse) which is then removed, the person doing the following will continue to move at a reduced speed even after this effect wears off or is removed. This can be remedied by canceling and re-entering the command.
- Will automatically cancel if the follower is hit with a Bind spell, or if the target becomes too far away from the following player.
