Lore and Legend Quests (EQ2)  

As of Game Update 53 you no longer need to obtain the book to start a Lore and Legend quest. Simply examine appropriate body parts, and the first one will give you the quest in the manner of Collections.

By completing more Lore and Legend quests, you increase the number of mob races that can be affected by your Sinister Strike, or Master's Strike, Smite or Rage ability.

*The actual level that appears in your Quest Journal for Lore & Legend quests will scale to your present level, but it would be unwise to attempt these until you are at least close to the level indicated in this table. Of course, many of these mobs appear in more than 1 zone and you may be able to hunt in a lower-level area. For example: Fairy is level 25, but Tier 1 fairies can be found in the The Peat Bog. The auto-updates work with grey mobs and body parts are all corpse drops.
