| Grouping | Icon | Meaning | Notes |

| Normal | grey ! | Quest Available Soon | Within the next level or two this NPC will have a quest for you, but not now. This can also mean that you are the right level but lack some other prerequisite. |
| green ! | Quest Available | This NPC or Object has a new quest to give you. | |
| blue check | Quest Turn-In | You have completed a quest. This NPC will accept it and give you your reward. | |
| grey check | Quest Turn-In Soon | You have a quest that this NPC will accept when you complete it. | |
| green round | Daily Available | This NPC or Object is offering you a Daily Quest. | |
| PvP | cyan ! | Quest Available | This NPC or Object has a new PvP quest to give you. |
| cyan round | Daily Available | This NPC or Object is offering a PvP Daily quest. | |
| World Event | purple ! | Quest Available | This NPC or Object has a new World Event quest to give you. |
| purple round | Daily Available | This NPC or Object is offering a World Event Daily quest. |
