† All quests reward XP but NCSoft is fond of changing the amounts frequently, to the point that it is simply not wise to try to track the exact amount in a wiki.
It would seem like I was afraid of this test for nothing. When I finally steeled myself to at least try it, figuring I would fail, I found the drakes are over-cons. I dropped them with relative ease as a sorcerer, solo, with them still orange to me. What is more, though I only brought back 3 within the time limit, and she told me she was somewhat disappointed, she supposed that I still passed her test.
A 27 Templar reports, "I failed outright with only two fangs my first time around, but she let me keep them for my second attempt. The total amount was 7, and she said the following:
"This is Outstanding! I had such high expectations for you and still you managed to exceed them! (blah blah take this report to Diomedes)..."
rewards: 145,000 XP, Diomedes' Ring (Magic Resist 39, sells for 1,390 kinah before modifiers). Thats it."
So it seems that the XP and Item rewards vary depending on how many Fangs you return with.
