Visions of the past you will see a series of vignettes between
Eth Ghosts that, piece by piece, reveal the following information:
- The High Council begins the Convocation tomorrow. The agents of Maelforge, directed by Manprin and Ekala, are already in place. Tomorrow, the world will burn!
- The common Ethian knows very little of what the High Council does, or why, and generally doesn't care.
- The more upper-class citizens are excited, and plan to attend with their entire families (even the children).
- Merchants are flocking to the Convocation, especially those that deal in potions as the Council is sure to buy many.
- Other citizens are divided about the usefulness of the Council, some feeling that Eth owes all to them, others that they are a leach on Eth and it would be better if they blew themselves up.
- Despite the objections of Enkanen, the High Council is going ahead with the Convocation. The High Council are who fools who will not listen to criticism.
- Today is the day of the Convocation, a great ritual that will involve all the people of Eth!
So, the High Council, including Cathar, planned a grand ritual called The Convocation, over the objections of some Ethians such as Enkanen. Secretly, a group of Ethians, including Manprin & Ekala, on behalf of Maelforge, planned to disrupt the Convocation.
