eq2 quest:What's This Thing Do  

This quest is given by Deputy Nettlebrine near the docks after you complete the Surveyor Says quest. As soon as the quest begins you are given "An Unusual Object". You will interact with this object for the rest of the quest. The steps are:

1. Examine the An Unusual Object.
2. Kill Briarpaw Cubs until you have 3 pieces.
3. Examine the An Unusual Object.
4. Kill Briarpaw Cubs (again) until you have 5 leather strips.
5. Examine the An Unusual Object.
6. Kill Mischievous Maidens until you receive magical adhesive.
7. Examine the An Unusual Object
8. Return to Deputy Nettlebrine for your reward.

Completing this quest opens up the Sanity Check quest.
