GoD tribute system--anyone know what it is?

Hello, i don't usually post messages, but I am curious beyond reason. does anyone know exactly what the new tribute system is in GoD? I suspect it is a move by verant to remove all the high level drops from the bazaar by making them more valuable to turn in for the tribute points to the people currently selling them for 10 or 20pp( like the greatstaff of thunder etc.). If anyone has any info, it would be appreciated, I have been buying up all the cheap lvl 60+ recommended items I can in anticipation of them being worthwile to turn in.

I think you will turn in money or items to your guild leader and they will give you an ability. I think it might be buffs, or skill points. that would be nice, to have those extra points. I don't know anythig for sure. Im really hoping for skill points though *Crosses fingers*

Don't quote me on this, but I hear from beta testers that the tribute system will be very expensive, even more than the new AA's (in comparison). Does this suprise anyone?
