Naw, I just wish EQOA had PVP, then I would play it even if there were only like..100 people. But if it did then I'm sure there would be more people..then again, the games so old now I don't even see what the point of playing it again would be.

Honestly, I loved it, and I still think about it...but I'm never going back...there's so much better things to do or even better games to play out there now. I say get a copy of AoC :)

Seriously though, try a new game. I felt like a noob with all the new games I tried, after you play a bit it wears off and you wonder why you didn't try something sooner. Except for the few folks that still cling to EQOA saying how great it is yet it has no content.

Really looking back at OA it was as well. The people that say it was great or still love it are too afraid to put down they ps2 controller and try something different. It was fun for a while, but never great by any stretch of the imagination.

As for a guess on population I would say counting the quad boxers on CLW myself included or soon to be thanks to ebay. The population has grown with the outbreak of boon. Freeport is buzzing again although it has just turned into blackwater all over again.

But I can find people on reg again pretty quick. Not so much tanks and healers but with boon you can make do without. If you can find a nice camp and get some people willing to own Whites or even proxiemty xp on Dark blues.

But I would say population in Freeport at any given time is 60-100 people easy and at different camps (Trees) (picks) (Phants) they are always full.

Yes content is lacking.

Yes there are some big Noobs out there on 60's now running around getting there groups owned.

Yes Reorn still over charges.

Yes Agents still change your name without warning.


But the game has some new appeal to it. And from what post's show on here people are returning. Imagine if Sony released not an expansion but another game same as EQOA and made it Where you could upload your toon.

Me personally I think the appeal hagley had when it first went up was other then Core members everyone was equal again. There were no super rich and that caused the link to be formed between groups.

I for one look forward to a new MMO on the PS2 cause there crazy on price for
PS3. I know the system rocks but I know alot of stuff I can spend the money on

Ok I rambled long enough. Seriously population is getting better. Noobs are found more frequent which means new blood is coming to the game.

Since i came back population not bad, i have only since fp, and hp pop, some in dm, with those that would be a easy 100 people, so through out the whole game??? couple hundred i suppose. More then i thought there would be, but just in the past couple weeks 4 of use came back, and another is trying to get his account lol.

Also on the WoW and AoC, blah i did that, was fun for a while, i kept jumping around, but missed eqoa. Its easyier to lay on the couch and play with my ps3. I spent 1500 on computer just to play AoC it was fun for a month, but then i went back to some shooters on ps3 lol.

So in the end im back playing eqoa wishing i shouldve just played this the whole time, plus there is things i havent done.
