EQOA necromancers!Follow

on i was on the CLW server :D

Umm I think they increased recast on pacts awhile ago, not sure how long ago tho.

I am biased but necros rock in everything! Their great soloers and a power necro can even double as a mini battery in groups.

I haven't played my necro in years tho...

I assume so, my necros on a deserted server and I'm now messing with a mage on clw so I don't know firsthand.

Alright a Necro pet...with the upgraded buff kicks ***. They in my mind with that buff...are the best pet class to deal damage on a general basis.

Now, a Mage EL does great damage to.. But, I have seen both. Played both. And prefer the Nec pet.

But, if your a nec nowadays. Your a pact wench. Hands down. All we want you to do on a raid is pact that MT. and Recast your pet when it dies. Other then that... uhm yeah..lol


Necros are not what they once were. The game has changed. Adapt.

Pointless to make a warrior, or any tank for that matter. The ones left are pure MT's who have been playing a few years and have atleast...I hope 1k cms.

The things to make nowadays are... Damage toons.

Hell, Healers for that matter are pointless to make aswell. It's the same boat as a MT. You need to be really really good in these classes.

As damage toons...you can build whatever way you want...just aslong as you can do damage and survive a hit.

If your MT is good. You won't take a hit unless you don't know how to use your toons. -I.E- Unload all your abilities. Not recommended. Unless...your like my Rogue. A sacrifice Melee. I pull the mob to the Tank. Unload all my heavy abilities and die. Then res/run/coth back.


This is why I have a very unnatural build for my toons. I tend to build my toons non buff needed. I have max stats with no buffs. It's a very bad idea. But, as I said, my toons are sacrifice toons.

Why is it bad?
You waste cms. Simple enough.

And yeah yeah I know this has nothing to do with your post. But maybe...just maybe people can just look here and then advance with a question.

Oh, and more on Necros. Path. Blood is great to solo with. and so good at low levels. But at higher levels. Meh...I would rather have a power necro all the way.

And the tag to choose. OMFG. They really need to do something about Nec tags. They suck. 90% of Necs just go whatever they want. Lich sucks. Defiler sucks. The best thing for a Nec to go...and given you are a Eru is a Scholar. I'd take you in my group on a raid. **** Subversion.

What else...hmm.. Just have fun. Play whatever way you want as a Necro. Just remember when your 60. Your a Pact wench with los on the tank and nothing else....on Raids of course. In a group your afk. LoL xD

Advice. Stamina and Wis are your friends when building your stats. ***** the rest. If you can keep pacting and stay alive...geesh your good enough. But, never neglect them all the way. Just, Sta and Wis are your main Focus.

I play on FH, I tend not to stop foot on the other servers. It's a little rule I have..lol

CLW has been pissing me off since it, well very since I first made a toon on there long ago. And I still don't like it now.
That and I hate being at a low level.

So I'm gonna mess with my toons on ppo for awhile, only problem is I don't know anyone any more and my old guild I don't think exists.

I in Forsaken Gods now, THC disbanded due to masters leaving game.

Yea but everybody, including all the jacka sses, griefers, etc. went to clw when everyone else did.


I just keep running into as many jerks as nice people.
