If a camp can handle "only one party", you'd better be strong enough to take all the mobs on at once. Or at least take so many that the other people won't want to bother staying there.
We killed the beetles and the anticans and were waiting for respawns. So I think we were killng them at a pretty good pace. The other party linked Sagittarius X-XIII to an ant they were fighting.
We decided to halt our pulling and let them fight the nm link without any distractions.
We could have kept on pulling and since they were slowly encrouching towards us, their backrow toons would have gotten hit with Ant aoe silence which would have made things more difficult for them.
Since we were higher level than the other party, we could have pulled on mass and slept the mobs near us. Each of us have sophoric and sheep song equipped, so we have 8 available sleepgas.
But at the end of the day, that wouldn't have been fun. We accept the lower xp rate because we enjoy spending time with each other and having fun is more important than super duper high xp.
While some players may decide it is okay to camp on top of others, we decided to quit our session to avoid conflict. We easily could have come back as higher level toons and decimate the area...but why bother? In a few days, the people who camped on top of us will most likely be 10 levels higher than us; and consequentially, we will hopefully not be in the same level range anymore.
I think it really comes down to the hare vs. the tortoise. My static party xps at a slow rate like the tortise, but we enjoy our gaming experience and spending time with each other. I hope the people who are akin to the hare can say the same.
