Im considering a proffesion for my new toon and i cant pick between a few of them. so i would like to know what differnet special spells or buffs that certain proffs give. if u dont know what im talking about i mean like how herbalism gives u the spell lifeblood. this infromation otr a link to a page with all the info on it will help.

wowhead has all that you're looking for as far as special abilites with professions in the next expansion
It would have been easy enough for you to do your own research i guess but for example inscription does give you a bonus of off hand items that are BOP http://www.wotlkwiki.info/index.php/Inscription#tab=Abilities_.26_Recipes
I have not enough time to look up the others but i am sure there are new things like with Herbalism and the very nice heal ability , i know because it has saved my alt many times as it is on my new hunter and i am loving it.

Jewelcrafting - special bop gems and jewelry
Blacksmithing - add sockets to items
Inscription - better shoulder enchants.

As far as I'm aware it's only gathering professions which provide an extra buff (skinning is +crit, mining is +health), which is probable because crafting professions get special bop items and previously gathering professions did not have any bonus for the person with that profession (other than being able to gather the stuff in the first place).
