You gotta love some of these press releases telling you to "join 4Story and retrieve your luck," but it seems like the 4Story team just really wants to have a week of events! So from tomorrow until the 28th, 4Story fans will be able to take part in a massive plethora of in-game events with some neat prizes. Their first event, the Monster Spawn event, will take place every day from 8:00 to 8:30 PST, although they do not specify where and what monsters will be spawned. Next, there is a Race to Level 30 event, where the first 20 players to reach level 30 will receive an Honor Package, worth 2,999G. Do note that if you have a character above level 30, you will not be allowed to qualify. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, the 4Story team is planning to run some bonus enchantment events, with Thursday being a 2x enchantment day, and Friday being a 2x rare enchantment day.

Finally, Saturday and Sunday will be reserved for the big events, like the Lucky event from 8:30 to 9:00 AM PST (good grief, who's waking up at 8:30 on a Saturday), where GMs will announce random criteria, and whoever qualifies will win three treasure boxes. Following that, the team plans to also hold a Copy-Cat event, where players must imitate a specific emoticon in a group to win 10 treasure boxes per person in the group. Finally, there will be a Guild Party Tournament which appears to just be a party event where guilds group up their best members and show them off.

On Sunday, the 4Story team plans to run another Lucky event, in addition to playing Monster soccer and having a GM tournament betting event, where players can bet on their favorite GMs as they all square off against each other in PvP combat.

Last month we reported that Zemi Interactive, developer of 4Story, was prepping a major content update for the MMO―to some degree, coinciding with its recent introduction to the Southeast Asian market. Originally launched in 2007, 4Story is a fantasy-themed MMO that's been published in 10 languages, with another 6 localizations planned by the end of the year.

In an effort to revitalize player interest and promote the new content, the developers recently released a new gameplay video, a promo trailer and a bunch of new screenshots. Zemi Interactive is also hosting a "Cash and Prize Giveaway" contest until November 15, in which players can earn both in-game items and real cash by participating in the event.

Either the developer haven't launched its new promotion campaign full-swing yet, or MMOCrunch is one of the few sites that's hosting the content, since there doesn't seem to be any official announcements on the 4Story official website. Zemi Interactive announced today that a "massive update" to the free-to-play 4Story has raised the level cap from 68 to 80 and added a new mission area to the game. The company has published a game guide for the new 13th mission area on its Web site, so check it out for more details.
