Sony sent us this little teaser movie for Planes of Power that you can download. Be warned that the download is approximately 6 megs, so I wouldn't try it with a 56K connection. Righ click on one of the below links and choose save target as to download.

    The video was pretty stupid, there was like 4 new monsters, in like 3 new realms......whoopie. I just think they could have done better than that. I'm buying PoP anyway. Just because the idiots can't put together a good promotion movie doesn't mean they can't make a great game, We all know that. :)----another thing--- pretty sure they only have around 200k suscribers. if they had 500, they wouldnt raise the monthly fee by 3 bucks. just my 2cp

    nah, if they had 500k subscribers, they would still raise the price 3 bucks... even if they lost subscribers, they'd still have waay too many to count, and waaay to much money to even worry about those lost players. Just my 12.95 Smiley: wink

    Lol, I must admit the music was a bit estranged for EverQuest. But the new mobs though few they were looked very nice.

    Im looking forward to this new release.

    Pretty lame, you think they could do a bit better for the #1 MMORPG out there w/ approx 500k subscribers...

    well not for long as thay have F*** up Pop for all the EU players i live in the uk and i pay for EQ in $ and have mi chars on tunare.god nows whats going to hapon to mi game in dec.ges ill have to get a US box but at $29+p&p im not a hape gamer

    He is making reference to the information got from amazon.co.uk about the PoP release.
    1: Europeans where not going to get it till December
    2: The european release was going to be for a new idea of theres (really stupid one from all the negative feedback they got)...(but hey its free market research for them) that they were going to make the epansion for european servers ONLY.
    3: Cost to import to say UK is an extra $40 on top of expansion price ( although they did change this at the sony store i think after the outrage this caused)
    4: Now they have seen they made a mistake they still have delayed the release for 1 month after US release, and it still cost $50 to get it brought over if you just cant wait.

    To summarise Verant sees the europeans players as a small percentile of venue and therefore dont care if the P*ss a few thousand subcribers of by not even giving us the thought of day till we all cry out "Thats not on". After all there isnt any countries that exist outside of the US now is there....

    Well maybe it's because of the bad video quality, but there's nothing in that video that looks new to me. I mean, sure the monsters look cool, but there looks to ne no new upgrades to the graphics engine.

    If you right click on the link and select "Save Target as..." you can download it to your computer to the location you choose.

    If you just left-click on the link, the file most likely will be in your Temporary Internet Files directory, but will eventually expire and be deleted.
