Slowing classes around Norrath can breathe easier today, as a post on the Developer's Corner announces that Slowing "reverses", in which the mob slowed actually attacks faster, will be removed completely with the next patch. The patch, which will begin Wednesday morning at 3AM PST and last about three hours, will not effect Slow mitigations or immunities; but the oft-maligned Slow reverses are "Right Out", according to SOE. Enchanters and other professional Slowers were reportedly seen "weeping for joy" in various corners of Norrath following the announcement. Among other issues addressed by the patch will be inaccuracies regarding health and movement updates, problems with some disease, curse, and poison cures, and "with any luck, a fix for the interesting new issues with faces".
