There are some days when great things just fall out of the sky, and for DAoC players this is one of them… It was brought to our attention this morning that What Gamers Want is hosting a new application called LFG (Looking For Group). Here’s how it was explained to me: It's called LFG, and it's primary purpose is to provide the DAoC players a way to determine when their friends are online, and which characters they are playing. You can also create or join groups through LFG so that you don't have to waste your playing time trying to find a group. LFG also serves as a repository of DAoC specific information such as class specifications, spell lists, style lists, and the ability to read the Camelot Herald news and view the server status all from the application itself. There is much more to be added, but I need to see how it holds up in the real world. Taken straight from the email we received this news in, that’s basically it in a nutshell. Be aware, though. This is a Beta release and with that comes bugs to be found and possible problems that come with beta software. Bugs and such should be reported to the Bugs forum on the LFG Support Forums.
