Sanya on TOA
Sanya dropped in on the "Trials of Atlantis" thread over on DAoC Catacombs to address a few concerns about the new expansion that was announced yesterday:
- I don't have a 50 rr5 character, and yet somehow I manage to have a good time.
By the way - the reason the decision was made to put the expansion out there at the Shrouded Isles level is because a) over 90% of our players have Shrouded Isles, and b) by the time this expansion launches, the video cards that were "best" when SI launched will be down around 50 bucks.
We're not adding levels. Wait for more information about Master ranks before you jump to any conclusions :)
There are two free expansions (great wads of fun stuff) coming in addition to this. Foundations is launching in June, and the other towards the end of the year.
