Where is Housing?

"Where is Housing?" was the question posed by a reader on the Vault's Developer's Round Table forums, and Sanya's response was:
All dates are "best guess" until you're holding the live version in your hand. This is par for the course in any software development, let alone video games. Right now, our best guess is June 17 going to open Foundations beta.
It all depends on testing. At E3 I was saying June, because... wait for it... the team told me "June." Remember that at E3 we hadn't tested ANY prices, or the system by which housing lots will be made available, etc and so forth. I imagine the economy angle is an important one to get settled before we take this live. Could just be me, though.
She also touched on why the housing expansion Foundations was already out with Computer Gaming World magazine's game demo disc:
Sera, if you don't have housing by CHRISTMAS, you will find me in a country that doesn't have extradition. While I appreciate those of you who understand that I give to you what others give to me, most people don't understand that I hear the Bahamas are nice. FYI - for those of you that don't have experience in the magazine industry - glossies have such long lead times (several months, in some cases) that they tend to get their information when it's not even a best guess, it's a WILD guess. That's why release dates in magazines tend to be so wrong.
