Sanya posted a brief notice on the Camelot Herald for the folks who have the Foundations beta CD from Computer Gaming World Magazine.

Just a little note for those of you who got their claws into a Foundations CD from a gaming magazine (Computer Gaming World). As many of you know, magazines go to the printers far in advance of their delivery to a newsstand. Any release dates, or any other kind of dates, are the best guess the developer had at the time of the magazine's deadline. The dates you see on a glossy page are only estimates, nothing more. So you may have a Foundations CD than you can't use yet - and I hope to be able to post an open beta release date in the very near future. I apologize for any frustrated anticipation.

If you're a person who is looking for the CWG magazine for the CD, it's the July 2003 issue with Sims 2 on the cover, I was able to find this at Barnes and Noble over the weekend and at the local grocery store (Kroger for the folks in the south.)
