Wizard TL Report

Therrik, Wizard team leader, has posted the "Wizard Report v1.62" on the Albion caster site The Cauldron.
    The theory behind Wizards is that their damage output should make up for their lack of utility. Unfortunately, this is not true. The damage that Wizards get does not make up for the things that they give up. Wizards are able to do the same damage as every other caster, but give up all of the utility spells (stun, mez, nearsight, debuffs, etc) to do only damage. While a Wizard should do the most damage of all the casters in the game, they can’t. Realm Abilities, Spellcrafting, resists, and interrupts are reducing the Wizard’s effectiveness to almost nothing in RvR. This is a major issue.

lol take a look at alb/merlin, they know how to play their fire wizards...facing the opposite end is a big problem, and if u look they actually do output the most dmg with the same dmg dd (and faster!) than a light eld, and bolts which hit more than a void eld's. Besides SC armor affects all casters equally

I agree as well. Previous to 1.62 I couldn't even use bolts, which are the wizard's bread-and-butter, IMO. Now I can SOMETIMES use bolts in combat...resists are a major issue as well, especially considering that we have no way to debuff our own damage like Ice Wizards or Arboreal Animists, or 2 or 3 other classes that I can't think of so far...
