You said it all!!!!

Point 1: Stop saying they need to patch stuff at the wee hours because they work their normal hours keeping the game going for all of us, and they would rather get some sleep than to wake up, drive or take the bus or carpool over, and spend one or two hours fixing something that SOMEONE will end up complaining about anyway.

Point 2: Oh no, I'm so horribly addicted to the game that if they shut it down for an hour or two I'm gonna sell my account and go kill myself and leave a suicide note blaming Mythic, blah-blah-blah. If that droning doesn't make sense to you, then shut your mouth because that's what it sounds like most of you people are saying.

Point 3: Someone explain how Foundations creates more lag, please. It's optional for one, so if you don't want the lag you can go without. Also, the only lag it SHOULD have is from the little zone entrance thing because, guess what? It's in another zone! I never hear people say "they need to get rid of the Catacombs, no one ever goes there anyway and all it does is make lag." It only causes lag if you're in the zone causing it.

Point 4: You signed up for this game knowing you had to pay for it, don't go complaining that they suck up all your funds to fill their pockets. Those nice shiny servers we all play on don't run on hopes and dreams, and they can't pay all the people who work at Mythic just on revenue from people buying the game itself.

Point 5: The entire game itself is one big paradox because of people like yourselves. If they patch, you get angry because they're making the game better. They don't patch, you get angry because they don't fix bugs and the game stays the same. They don't give you customer support because someone was in line first, you complain because you think they're purposely ignoring just you. They do get to you eventually and you complain because you don't think they did the job right. Just stop, take a good look at where DAOC was when it was first introduced without falling damage, transformation graphics, SI, Foundations, the 1x/1.5x/2x/2.2x/2.5x point system, dungeons, DF, the dragons, the battlegrounds, the keep claim system, the relics, the destealthing rule when people get control of relics, and everything else, and you tell me how happy you would be.

Its just 2 freakin hours u fools! go outside! get some suntans! geez, its only a game too. So, ill be outside getting a tan hanging with my hobies while u fools complain about 'oh no, i have to wait 2 hours of my PRECIOUS time on the game!'

lol you guys are crying about 2 hours off the comp and you want mythic to be up at 3 am to put patches on?? i bet your lazy asses wouldnt wanna get up that early

I do understand the need to fix things however do ya have to do it in the daytime? 2 0r 3am would prolly be more convenient for you customers. you know the ones that keep Mythic solvent.

I think these patches should stop mostly at this time during the day. Housing is a waste of time and gold 95 plat to bid for a house? yeah right i cant even farm a plat in a day its so boring. thanks mythic but ill pitch a tent in aegir.

the housing doesnt cause lag its in a completely different part of the game u dumbs--ts housin is for guilds if u dont like it tough and mythic is tryin to correct the game and they cant do it at 3 am because guess wat they are sleepin u have to wait 1-2 hours for an update and u act like its the end of the world get ouside and quit sittin on the comp all day till 1 am in the mornin playin some game it aint worth it

its obviouus mythic has lost touch with its bread and butter (us who pay 13$ a month to play) im with the last guy just started playin i feel sorry for those who do pay for this garbage at the end of free month and deleting from hard drive and will be an avid and outspoken critic against this game

Here we go again, server coming down at 10 am again, and all this for that stupid housing thing. It will be as laggy as SI would be with a 150 peeps in a zerg. Why can't they do it at 3 am when everyone is sleeping??

i can see where this dumb housing project will get DAoC- nowhere, just total disaster. i mean most people think housing is a waste of time and space- the only thing it adds is more lag

Agreed. ******** won't get anyone anywhere. They'll patch the servers up when they patch them and they'll bring them back online when they can. Be happy they even patch the game.
