The Fallen Earth team is hosting a Scavenger Challenge contest during a stress test event this Saturday, July 11, which will allow players to win prizes such as a Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 video card and a Razer Death Adder High Precision Infrared Gaming Mouse.

There's a couple different ways to participate. First, any player who logs in for half an hour during the three-hour stress test will be entered to win prizes such as the mouse, video card, or Fallen Earth messenger bags and T-shirts. If you'd rather test your skills, you can enter the scavenger hunt and follow clues to find items in the game. The winner of the hunt will earn one of every possible prize.

Participants will find a set of clues on the Fallen Earth forums on Saturday, July 11, at noon EST. The list of clues will outline several items that players are supposed to find within the world. For every item a player finds, their name will be entered into the drawing for the Scavenger Challenge prize. For instance, if you find five items, your name will be entered into the drawing five times, whereas, if you only find one item, your name will be entered into the drawing once.

 

Will I be eligible to win both the Scavenger Challenge and a random login prize pack?

Yes, anyone who logs in for a half-hour within the three-hour contest window is eligible to win a prize pack. The winner of the Scavenger Challenge will be drawn from all participants who complete one or more scavenger activities within the three hour window.

 

Can I enter more than once?

Participants are only eligible to enter the drawing for a random login prize pack once (only unique logins are counted). For every item on the scavenger list a player finds, he or she will be entered into the drawing for the Scavenger Challenge prize once (five item finds=five entries, for example).

 

How will I be notified?

The winner of the Scavenger Challenge and winners of the random login prize packs will be posted on the Fallen Earth Web site no later than 6 p.m. EST on Saturday, July 11. Prizes will be mailed to participants as soon as they provide a mailing address to the Fallen Earth team. Yes. Only unique logins are counted, and a minimum log time of half-hour is required for entry.
