Even though the third Aion beta event came to an end on Monday, news keeps pouring in for the highly anticipated MMO. It has been announced on the official site that the limited collector's edition of the game is selling out fast, but there's still copies available. If you want to make sure you get one of the 50,000 copies that have been produced for the North American and European markets, NCsoft suggests you preorder it as soon as possible.

If you already have your collector's edition on preorder, you may be interested in checking out Ten Ton Hammer's interview with Associate Producer Lani Blazier on the Spiritmaster class, which is a mage pet class. The pets, which are known as spirits, grow in power as you level and stay with you until your character dies or changes zones, the pet dies, or you log out.

The next closed beta event will be held from July 17-20 and will focus on Elyos and Asmodian levels 1-25. If you're not participating in the beta, you can still get a feel for the game by reading Christopher "Pwyff" Tom's preview of the game right here on ZAM.
