More TL Reports

A few more team leader reports popping up:
  • Moller, Healer team leader, posted the "Healer v1.62 report" on Camelot Vaults DAoC TL Reports forum.
Healers are a very solid class that forms the backbone of the Midgard Army. Healers provide two of the most valuable abilities in RvR combat - Healing and Crowd Control. For Midgard to compete with Albion and Hibernia it is essential that the Healer class remain an enjoyable and interesting class to play, both in PvE and RvR.
  • Abaddon Ambrosius, Theurgist team leader, posted the "Theurgist TL Report - 1.63 (June '03)" on Camelot Vaults DAoC TL Reports forum.
Theurgists are one of the last classes requiring class-specific rebalancing, primarily in Earth and Ice lines. The game has changed around theurgists. But theurgists themselves have barely changed and are now falling behind. There are many points to support this. Theurgists have also long had an identity crisis. The class was billed as a siege class, yet several spells that create siege viability were never granted... even the ones other classes eventually got (GT-AE). Theurgists have received no new spells since release, except the absorb shield given to all cloth casters.
  • Runemaster team leader, Ragnarrthru, posted the "Runemaster Team Lead Report (June)" over on the Vault's DAoC TL Reports forum.
Cloth casters seen as the primary threat in RvR situations actually suffer the most penalties in RvR, and though we remain the first ones killed, we no longer have the damage output to actually warrant this. Our damage output is reduced by massive amounts of resists, and as Runemasters, we only have one form of CC (root) which is readily Purged, we are finding ourselves unable to kill as effectively at range, and we're 100% vulnerable in close quartered combat.
