WoW Patch 3.3.2 to Drop This Upcoming Tuesday?
In a recent post at the official forums, Blizzard poster Enthati announced a somewhat-extended downtime for the upcoming week's scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 3 a.m. to 11 a.m., PST. The upcoming server maintenance is scheduled to last a few hours longer than the usual downtime, which might imply that the eagerly-anticipated patch 3.3.2 could be dropping this week, as suggested by other sites (such as WoW.com).
Patch 3.3.2 is expected to launch WoW's Arena Season 8 and unlock the final wing of the Icecrown Citadel raid encounter. While it's true that extended downtimes like this Tuesday's are sometimes indicative of minor content patches and other new material set to deploy to live servers, it's important to remember that we haven't received any official confirmation one way or the other, so far. What do you think? Are all of you PvP fans ready for Season 8? Is the ICC raid content moving forward at a greater pace than the community originally anticipated? Does this mean we might be seeing Cataclysm sooner than we imagined?
