Kinslon's latest community address puts a firm date on patch 1.9, as well as confirming some upcoming server merges and server transfers!

Surprising information was revealed today in Aion Producer Chris "Kinslon" Hager's May Community Address! Apparently the Aion Team has been closely monitoring class populations across all servers, and they've really listened to the player base! That's right, server merges and server transfers will be coming to Aion! While Kinslon doesn't really have a date set for when server merges will hit, I'd assume it will be sometime near when character transfer services go live in the middle of June. Can you imagine transfering servers, only to have them merge with your old server?

Alongside this great news for all Aion players, Kinslon has also set a final date for patch 1.9, with Aion's Public Test Servers getting this update on Tuesday, May 25th, 2010, and Aion's official servers getting patch 1.9 on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010. Kinslon also notes that the team is already hard at work at patch 2.0, and they are hoping for a fall release date. I guess that means we get a summer of patch 1.9, and then a whole slew of things in 2.0 for the new school year!
