Today, the Aion Team focused on account buyers and the dangers associated with them

We've all been there before - those moments where you just wish you didn't have to "earn" all those skills, levels and equipment, and so you begin to think about buying one that's already got it all. Well, in this month's episode of "The More You MMO," titled "Earn Your Power," the Aion team talks about the problems that come with purchasing an account. Typically speaking, many accounts being sold on the internet are actually former players' accounts who have been hacked or stolen, and should you purchase an account that has connections to RMT companies or power-leveling services, you could very well discover that your character has been banned, the very next day! This reminds me of one time a few years ago when a player purchased a World of Warcraft account for a whopping $2500, only to get banned the very next day because the character being bought had one of the first legendary Warglaives in existence, and the price was so astronomical that the purchase became infamous on the internet (thus resulting in a ban).

As well, the Aion team rightly notes that when you buy your characters online, you're really not earning that character the proper way, and this can lead to some very obvious problems when you try to play with players your level (if you're yelling about being able to fly, then you would understand!). And so, as the Aion team says it, you have to earn your powers to learn your powers. You might just get caught for being such a newbie! You can check out the full video at the official Aion website.
