This week, the Aion Team sheds some light on the free character transfers and the delay in server merges

Another week, another Eye on the Community! This week, the Aion Team decided that some clarification was necessary to help players understand the logistics of the free character transfers. More specifically, since characters will be allowed to transfer until the 18th of August, the Aion team notes that you will only be able to transfer a total of six times before this period ends. This is due to the fact that the Aion team processes all of that week's transfers during the weekly server maintenance, so if you apply for a transfer, you will have to wait until maintenance until you find your character on a new home.

Because of this, players will find that they will have a grand total of 6 weeks to "transfer around," and that's if they make sure to catch every weekly maintenance to transfer servers. So be sure to think hard every time you transfer servers, because you'll end up sticking around for a week!
