This week, the Aion Team answers a few basic server merge questions!

In reality, no matter how much you spin this, you have to admit that these Eye on the Community Questions are fairly... uninformative. In this week's Eye on the Community, Chris "Kinslon" Hager decided to discuss Legion name conflicts in this upcoming server merge, although the conflicts were already discussed earlier in the day. Unfortunately, there have also been reported cases where established (as in, one of the highest ranked and oldest North American Legions in Aion) Legions have lost their Legion name, so players are not too sure about the criteria being implemented to judge which Legion is more deserving to retain their name. The Legion in question, by the way, was Benny Lava of my own server, Siel, who had dominated the upper forts since I began playing. They have since become less active (currently only holding Kysis), but it turns out that they've lost their Legion name in comparison to new a guild created on June 26th and is currently guild level 2.

Quite odd!

The other question covered in this week's Eye on the Community was a request for some more solid population numbers on servers after the merge, but Kinslon noted that due to players constantly transferring between servers, he couldn't really give any specific numbers or populations. All Kinslon had to say was that the servers were calculated to provide equal populations, but who knows after a month of server merges!
