Due to the technical nightmare that server merges represent, the Aion servers will be down for 13 hours on the day of the merge

They're finally here! Aion's much anticipated server merges will be happening on July 14th, and while this is great news for all involved (alright, except for those with name problems), this does mean that the Aion servers will be down for about 13 hours on the day of merge. You will also not be able to access the Aion website or Aion forums while the team is dealing with these server merges, and the forums will require an additional three hours after the servers come up, although you will be able to play Aion.

For North Americans, the server merges will begin on Wednesday, July 14th at 2:00 AM PST (that's 5:00 AM EST), and the down time will continue to 3:00 PM PST on the same day (that's 6:00 PM EST).

For Europeans, the server merges will begin at 0500 GMT +1 on Wednesday, July 14th, and they will be back online around 18:00 (GMT +1) on the same day.

So write those times down and get ready, Daevas, because it's merging time!
