The Aion Team has fixed the technical problems they were having, so players can expect to be transferred tomorrow, July 23rd, during maintenance

Yesterday, we talked about character transfers in Aion being put on hold due to unforseen technical problems, but it appears as though the Aion Team has discovered a way to work through that, and so the free character transfer services should be back up and running as we speak.

One thing that players should note, however, is that there are a few restrictions when transfering servers; most notably being the fact that if you're planning to transfer servers, remember the following:

• You cannot transfer a character that is a member of a Legion. Your character must leave any Legion it belongs to before you transfer it to a different server.
• You cannot transfer a character that has more than 200,000,000 Kinah.
• Items in your account warehouse will not be transferred.
• You cannot transfer a character that has any items that are up for consignment with the Trade Broker.
• You must remove all mail containing money from your mailbox before you transfer.

As well, Aion's servers will be down for maintenance tomorrow as the team makes good on all character transfers that went through before July 21st. They estimate that the servers will be down for about 5 hours, and the maintenance will begin on July 23rd, at 7:00 AM PDT.
