Autumn may be right around the corner in North America, but summer is officially on its way in Atreia. High temperatures are expected to hit the world of Aion tomorrow, Sept. 15 for the Scorching Heat summer event, and things won't cool down until Oct. 13. NCsoft should consider hiring Al Roker to promote this event. If Blizzard can get Ozzy, Shatner and Mr. T, NCsoft can get Al.

According to the announcement, players will be awarded scorching heat automatically as they adventure. Scorching heat can be used to purchase frozen boxes to help you keep cool, and the boxes can be used to claim swimsuits, coins, polymorph candies and dyes. You can expect to see a lot of bikinis in Aion for the next few weeks.
