Sweet - at least someone is!
No doubt it'll be nearly double the price here though (Australia) - our average price for a new game is about $100. Crap esp. since our dollar is about parity now with the US... (maybe I'll get a mate in the US to buy me all my games and post them over! I think it's illegal to buy games over the net...but, there are probably ways around this).
All I need now is a VIP key, so I can see whether its worth investing in.
Never got into WOW, AION got boring after about 3wks, so yeah, last mmorpg I was into (read: addicted to) was way back in the mid 90's when they were in infancy stage and called MUD's (Multi User Dungeon) - all text based, ascii maps, that kinda thing.
Aaaah a trip down memory lane just remembering. (you lag, you type slow, you die lol).
Anyway, I ramble.
Got a spare VIP key for an Australian to test?
Used to be a games programmer, did service in QA so know the drill re bug reporting/reproduction/yada yada, and would like to help make this game as awesome as possible. Would like to see it completely overshadow WOW. (Sick of even hearing about stupid WOW, lol).

QVS to Distribute Rift in Australia & New Zealand
Rift is taking over the world! Trion Worlds announced today that it has signed a multi-year agreement with QVS to distribute the fantasy MMO in Australia and New Zealand. This follows Trion's announcement earlier this month that Ubisoft will be distributing Rift throughout continental Europe.
While we all wait for Rift to launch in 2011, you can still contribute in our Rift forums for a chance to win a VIP beta key! The key will get you into this weekend's second closed beta event, as well as every other upcoming beta event!
