In spite of the fact that they are still in closed beta testing, the Rift team is moving fast to keep up with their heavy crowd.

This is really rather impressive how Rift is able to draw such a huge beta testing crowd, and it's even more impressive how they are working to meet demands as, according to the official Rift twitter feed, Trion Worlds has opened up 6 new EU servers (2 for each language) and 4 new NA servers (Rocklift, Keenblade, Snarebrush, and Reclaimer).

Apparently there is also a new patcher for Rift closed beta participants, which should help improve load-balancing on login. Enjoy your week of pure, unadulterated Rift goodness during the fifth closed beta event!
