Grab a key and play Rift for free this weekend!

Trion Worlds is hosting another Allies of the Ascended free trial event this weekend, and we're giving away keys that will get you and your friends into Rift without paying a single penny! All you have to do is log into ZAM and request a key before they run out. That's it!

Log in with your free ZAM account and click here to obtain your Rift free trial key!

Once you've received your key, head over to the Allies of the Ascended page to apply the code to your Trion Worlds account and download the Rift client. The key will allow you to play Rift for free from Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. PDT through Monday, April 11 at 10 a.m. PDT.

You'll have the opportunity to participate in the River of Souls world event, so check out our event guide if you need some help. Our database, Soul Tree Calculator and wikibase can also prepare you for your free trip to Telara!

The one key I got worked perfectly fine and my friend is currently playing. I was wondering if we were allowed to get 2 keys so I could give it to another friend as well. Or if I should just have that person make an account here and request a key of their own.

I mean seriously. I click on log in here to request a key and it just points me to the account settings page. No request a key button anywhere to be seen. I click on rift button anywhere and it just sends me to this same page that says log in here and request a key. How do you request a key

log in here, first. Then go back to the Key giveaway page and refresh it (F5), then hit the link for the key.

wtf this seems like a round robin how the hell do i request a key. Click on anything that says request and you just go round in circles.

Looks like it works for an additional weekend even if you took part in the first weekend. I got a code and applied it and it went through fine, so hopefully I'll be logging in tomorrow!

ummm, hi i was just wondering if i were a new player and i wanted to play that "Allies of the Ascended" event for the weekend could i really do so without paying, or is it that once i make an account i have to start paying each month even though i only played for 2 days? PLEASE HELP ME I NEED ASSISTANCE!!!

No surprises, no gotchas. You do have to create a Trion account but that does not require billing, just defines you. Then you attach the code we give you to that account and buda-bing, you are rifting for the weekend!

What I was asking is if the friend already created a trial account using the key given last weekend by Trion, if they would be able to use yours on the same account, or if they would have to create a NEW account. Basically, how many trial keys can be used on one account?

Nevermind Kairu answered my question. Awesome, I already got my key and my friend applied it to his account. Thanks ZAM :) I hope this time my friend will have a little more fun and switch over from WoW.

If we already gave someone a key when Trion did their free weekend, will those same people be able to use yours on the same account? Or will they have to make a new account like the 10-Day Trial for EQ2?
