Avatar Creations has announced that the coming Perpetuum Terra Incognita update will actually be a full expansion! The release date has been set for May 4, and despite it being bumped to an expansion, the content will still be a free download. So why is it an expansion now? How about the fact that the world will be doubling in size?

That's right, The Syndicate Army's heroic offensive resulted in the conquest of 6 new islands. Players will also see Highways! These come as a result of the discovery of a kind of energized highway network, called ElectroMagnetic ACcelerator Strips (EMACS). The expansion also brings an Event Notification System, Explosion Damage, new Modules, Mineral and Mining changes, and more.
