Out of curiosity. Would it not be an idea to make a triplicate comparison (or similar amount of replicates) of all reported locations before uploading to database from the log.txt file. To avoid wrong locals for items where people forgot to do a /loc and it gets out of sync?
Right now I would think this can give you a large number of wrong locations in the database over time?
