Learn about the first encounter between the Dominion and the Granok

When Carbine introduced us to Galeras, we finally got to see some Dominion vs. Exile conflict. The question is though: Why? We know both factions want Nexus, but there's more to this conflict than merely a landgrab. There's some serious animosity between the races of the Dominion and the Exiles that we're missing the backstory on. It's hard to really jump into a war without understanding why your character hates the other guy, so Carbine's looking to clear that up with this week's blog post and the ones to follow.

The post goes over the history of the Granok mercenaries, from their humble beginnings on the planet Grok to their war with the Dominion and ending with the splintering of the race and the creation of the space-faring mercenaries we're familiar with today. The younger Granok may have won the war, but the tactics required caused them to be exiled from the home they fought to protect. When you hear that, you start to understand why Sarge got a little cross when Gnox was brought up in his interview earlier this year.
