Valve shows off the new Steam Controller with some games from the Steam Library.

On Friday, Valve released a video showing off how the new Steam Controller is used in a number of already released games. In the corner of the video, you will see the controller cam showing off how the controller is used to control the demonstrated games (Portal 2, Civilization 5, CS:GO and Papers, Please).

A few of the things shown off are Legacy mode and the abilities to use 1-to-1 and velocity trackpad controls. Legacy mode allows the controller to work like a keyboard and mouse, which is useful for games that haven't been modified for the controller. The trackpad controls are also shown to work 1-to-1 like a mouse (cursor moves with the movements) and velocity which is like a joystick.
