As originally reported by Missjackie in the general forums, ZAM has significantly lowered the price of premium membership:

 

"Greetings.

Since I am a premium member, I just received an e-mail about ZAM. Perhaps this will help influence more people to support the site.

Prices have been lowered. Here are the new pricing plans:

$1.00 monthly (previously $4.99/month)
$5.00 bi-annually (new tier)
$9.00 annually (previously $29.99/year)

If you're a former premium member or were on the fence about paying, maybe this will influence you to either come back or perhaps help out with $1 a month"

 

Read the thread in general, as there is an error on the one part of the site that is being addressed. Missjackie's info is correct.

I cannot sign up either. The link in the updated news page brings you back to this page, NOT a page to sign up. Please fix.

thanks for the info love Zam. where i go for all my info. hope EQ2 gets updated too. still play it and i always went to ZAM for EQ2 info. bummed out they stopped but hopefully it will come back again:)

EQ2's front page has been updated whenever new news have been released by Daybreak (for the past couple months now). However, as far as new items goes, we don't have the capability to gather that information. Pretty sure support could explain it better than me about new information about future expansions.

This email went out a little prematurely since we hadn't yet changed the prices in the system but we'll be working on that hopefully today if not early next week. Sorry for the confusion there.

Start paying some attention to EQ2 again, and I'd be in for 2. No slight to Missjackie, who has picked up the reins and is now posting updates, but not updating the EQ2 site for a year and going incommunicado over there seriously damaged the credibility of the site in my eyes. It made me wonder if it was going to even be there the next time I checked.

I realize that EQ2 likely isn't the most populated game on ZAM, but it IS the primary reason I visit ZAM.

We would love to see the EQ2 site up to date like we have worked on here at the EQ1 site. We're still a ways off from the EQ1 site being 100% fully functional like it used to be, it still needs lots of developer love.

The EQ2 site needs development work from ZAM in order to code in the API that Daybreak Census site provides. Also the site needs more tools so the content admins can more easily update information. The data feed that SOE (now Daybreak Games) provided previously when the site was active was severed I believe when they came out with their census site.
