TC Update Notes 08.16.04

The devs have made a couple of major changes to the Test Center today. Also, don't forget to check out Darkflame's latest updates listed below! - FS Quests: Fixed Patrol quest: Killing 1-3 NPC spawns will now correctly credit you for doing so and not fail the quest. - FS Quests: Fix to FS Medic Puzzle quest, should now correctly count healed patients. - FS Quests: The radiation counter should now have less wildly varying numbers associated with it - FS Quests: Updated Capt. Sarguillo's quest to fix some typos - FS Quests: Fixed Pannaqa's title. - FS Quests: Fixed typos in village elder phase 1 conversation. - Jedi:
    - Removed FRS xp when an FRS Jedi kills a non-Jedi player. Jedi will no longer benefit from killing non-Jedi players. - Greatly reduced offensive damage of a Jedi when they are using Force Run. This change will prevent Jedi from utilizing this ability for hit-and-run tactics. Jedi will need to think about when the appropriate time is to use Force Run. - Removed bleeds from saberthrow1 and saberthrow3. Bleeds on saber throwing, when used in conjunction with Force Run, have been creating a situation where Jedi are more powerful than intended. - Substantially increased the amount of FRS xp granted when an FRS Jedi kills an opposing FRS Jedi. Fixed a Meditation exploit that allows a Jedi to regenerate force power abnormally fast.
- Artisan Business III: Get 1 vendor that will hold a total of 100 items - Artisan Business IV: Get an additional vendor and a total item limit increase of +150 - Merchant Novice: Get an additional vendor and a total item limit increase of +500 - Merchant Efficiency III: Get a total item limit increase of +100 - Merchant Efficiency IV: Get an additional vendor and a total item limit increase of +150 - Merchant Management I: Get an additional vendor and a total item limit increase of +500 - Merchant Management II: Get an additional vendor and a total item limit increase of +500 - Merchant Management III: Get two additional vendors and a total item limit increase of +500 - Merchant Management IV: Get two additional vendors and a total item limit increase of +500 - Merchant Master: Get two additional vendors and a total item limit increase of +1000

I have a question which is prolly dumb to others, but Im just gonna be brave and ask. What exactly are they testing on TC2 because I talked to the old guy. He gave me a crystal, but what do you do? I'm completely stumped. Help a tester noob out...Thanx

The thing they are testing is the quest system to become Force-Sensitive, which means pre-jedi...

After you recieved the crystal you get attacked by 2 mobs, at a random moment.
It happens most likely after zoning, means shuttlejumps intp player citys.
From them you loot a disk with a Waypoint to a camp where you will find 3 Mobs, from them you get another disk which tells you to go to dathomir.
There you meet a NPC, she gives you the Waypoint to the Village...
Inside this Village you will find several different quests, which are tested at this moment. Just visit the board http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board?board.id=in_testing
there you will find feedback from other players and other stuff...

They key words in that statement are "it will be" implemented. Until the actual modification occurs the above update notes are correct. Thanks for watching out for us though.

I also /agree ! there is a www.Swg.allakhazam.com that the star wars people can go it, i doubt they even stop here unless its their first time to the site and they dont know to add the SWG part in. and if they play both games im sure they have two windows up on one of their four supercomputers just to be extra nerdy =P " ive done that and its kinda fun lol"
